Chasing Illusions...

When i look around, most people i come across know what they are doing. They have 'aims', 'goals', 'ambitions'... they are focussed, they have plans. I really respect these people, because i, myself, have no idea where i am headed. In today's world, that is enough to qualify as a crime. In a world where everybody is looking for what they want, i want something i can look for... A Purpose perhaps, a Calling if you will. It eludes me and i wait in vain. So while others make the best of reality, i usually end up chasing illusions.... :)

Case 1 : You know where you are headed in life.Like going for a movie whose ending you already know.

Case 2 : You have no idea where you are headed.Like going for First-Day-First-Show of a thriller.

Which one would you choose?

does chasing illusions make u happy? u very well know wat i believe in - reason, purpose, dreams. or is it tat u r not aware of ur reasons, or perhaps chasing illusions is ur reality?
n most ppl dont dream, they have the herding instinct. If you dare to dream, it is well tat it will take time for you to find ur goal.

We all chase illusions..and try and make it a reality...its just that we r all different individuals and tackle things differently.....

Every 1 relates to life uniquely...no two situations can be same..atleast the purpose, perspective and individuals wouldnt be same.

Its like two different roads that lead to the same destination...

Most of the people who ve identified goals or a purpose are not sure whether it is right or not and still live with it all their life for the heck of socity...
Atleast u know what u dont want...whc is very vital....Its like ticking 'none of the above' from all the options given which itself is an ANSWER....

I can completely relate to what you are saying. I envy people who were born knowing what they wanted to do as a career. Me? I like a little of everything and have more than one talent. While some people tell me I'm fortunate for many gifts, I also feel so confused and unsure of which way to turn.
